These Terms govern your access to and use of AIGator.com, the AIGator AI text checker, Prompt Library, Blog, contact form, and related services.
1. Operator
AIGator is operated by Roth Media GmbH, Lorrainestrasse 19, 3013 Bern, Switzerland.
You can contact us through aigator.com/contact/ or at [email protected].
2. Acceptance
By accessing or using AIGator, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. The service
AIGator provides writing-related tools and information, including an AI-likeness checker, evidence and counter-signal displays, prompt content, educational articles, contact facilities, and related features. Features may be experimental, changed, suspended, or discontinued.
4. AI-detector limitations
AIGator results are probabilistic estimates based on writing patterns. They cannot establish who wrote a text, whether a person cheated, or whether misconduct occurred. Human writing may be flagged, AI-assisted writing may not be detected, and results can change after editing, translation, paraphrasing, or model updates.
You must not use an AIGator result as the sole basis for an educational, employment, disciplinary, admissions, housing, credit, insurance, legal, medical, or other decision that may materially affect a person. Appropriate context, source evidence, process evidence, and human review are required.
5. Your submitted content
You retain any rights you have in text or other content you submit. You grant AIGator and its service providers a limited right to process the content solely as necessary to provide, secure, and improve the requested service in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content. Do not submit confidential, legally privileged, secret, infringing, unlawful, or sensitive personal information unless you are authorized to do so and accept the associated processing.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use AIGator for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or harmful activity;
- submit content that you do not have permission to process;
- attempt to bypass security, rate limits, access controls, Cloudflare Turnstile, or usage restrictions;
- probe, scan, disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use automated systems to generate excessive or unauthorized requests;
- misrepresent an AIGator result as proof, certification, or a conclusive finding of authorship;
- use AIGator to make high-impact decisions about another person without meaningful human review and independent evidence.
7. Accounts, free use, and future paid services
Some features may be offered without an account and subject to character, request, or rate limits. AIGator may introduce accounts, credits, subscriptions, or paid Deep Check features. Any additional commercial terms and prices will be shown before purchase and will form part of these Terms.
8. AIGator content and intellectual property
The AIGator name, logo, software, interface, original graphics, site design, and original editorial content are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Unless a page states otherwise, you may use individual public prompts for your own lawful personal or commercial work. You may not reproduce, republish, scrape, resell, or create a competing database from the Prompt Library or other site content at scale without written permission.
9. Third-party services and links
AIGator relies on third-party providers and may link to third-party websites. Their services and content are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party availability, content, or practices.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep AIGator available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access. We may change models, prompts, calibration methods, limits, features, or interfaces and may perform maintenance or restrict access to protect the service.
11. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIGator is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. Nothing on AIGator is legal, educational, employment, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Please also read the Disclaimer.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, reputational harm, or decisions made in reliance on an AIGator result.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, non-payment, or a material breach of these Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules, the courts of Bern, Switzerland have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page. Material changes may be communicated through the website or, where available, by email.
16. Contact
